Have that pro setup ready wherever you are with the Pioneer DJ DDJ-800 Rekordbox DJ Controller, a new compact 2-channel DJ performance controller for dedicated use with their coveted professional performance application, rekordbox dj.

Inheriting the layout design of the DDJ-1000, which has earned a strong reputation with professional DJs who perform at weddings, parties, and events outside the club environment – the DDJ-800 packs a host of performance features into a lighter body whilst still maintaining that pro spec.

Compact, lighter, portable body

Take the DDJ-800 wherever you want thanks to its portable design, which is smaller than the DDJ-1000 by 22% in volume and 1.3 kg in weight.

Plug and play

Simply connect the DDJ-800* to your PC/Mac to enable rekordbox dj. You don’t need to enter a license key to use the software with the controller.

Color On Jog Display for quick reference to enable accurate performances

The Pioneer DDJ-800 Rekordbox DJ Controller is our first 2-channel controller to feature high-definition LCD screens showing information such as playback time, BPM, and waveforms in the center of each jog wheel. Cue Scope indicates the distance in bars from the current playback position to Hot Cue points and Loop points, enabling you to mix quickly and more accurately. You can choose to display full artwork on the displays, helping you instantly identify the track loaded on a deck by simply looking at the jog wheel.

Feedback Reducer – the first feature on a DJ controller to lessen microphone “howling”

Pass the mic around with confidence. The DDJ-800 is the first controller that supports the new Feedback Reducer feature in rekordbox dj, which instantly detects the “howling” frequency of feedback and brings it down. Plus, two independent mic inputs give you greater flexibility when you’re juggling DJs, MCs, and guest speakers.

Club-style layout and features

Perform with the DDJ-800 as if you’re using our flagship setup. All the buttons, knobs, and faders on the controller are arranged and used in the same way as those on our club-standard CDJ-2000NXS2 and DJM-900NXS2 setup.

Use Feeling Adjust to set the resistance on the jog wheels to your preferred weight for scratching and spice up your sets with the popular Sound Color FX and Beat FX from our DJM mixer series. You can instantly reference BPM and the name of the selected FX without looking at your PC/Mac thanks to the dedicated Beat FX display, making it easy to use the FX whenever inspiration strikes.

Audio mixer feature – control external input volume

You can use the DDJ-800 as a mixer to control the volume of audio input from an external device – even when you’re using it on its own*3 – by adjusting the trims, channel faders and EQs. And, when the controller is connected to rekordbox dj, you can use Sound Color FX and Beat FX too.

Use the 16 tactile illuminated rubber pads (8 per deck) to trigger Hot Cues, Pad FX, Beat Jump, Sampler, Keyboard mode, and more

HIGH-QUALITY COMPONENTS

The Pioneer DJ VM-50 Active Monitor Speaker includes a Class D amplifier with 96 kHz sampling DSP to enable wide- bandwidth audio reproduction with low distortion and a high-energy sound. And the 4-mm-thick rigid aluminum front baffle suppresses resonance and reduces vibrations.

Even for the longest sets, you’ll feel comfortable wearing the Pioneer HDJ-CX headphones, from your first mix to your last. As well as being incredibly light – weighing just 136g without the cable – they’re ergonomically designed to minimize any stress to your head, neck, or shoulders. The weight distribution of the headband and the earcups, as well as the thickness of the headband cushion, have been carefully adjusted for optimal balance. The diameter of the wire inside the included cables has been reduced and the position of the spiral on the coiled version has been shifted closer to the plug that connects to your mixer, so it balances better with the straight section. What’s more, the stainless steel headband features a ladder-like structure for extra flexibility and stress resistance so you can easily find your perfect fit.

Tight, wide-ranging sound and superior insulation for precise monitoring in any environment

The Pioneer HDJ-CX headphones have been designed from scratch with a brand-new driver unit and special tuning to deliver crystal-clear audio. The new PEEK-PU-PEEK composite film diaphragm2 provides tight sound and a frequency response of 5 Hz to 30 kHz. This means you can clearly hear the kicks, snare drums, and hi-hats for precise monitoring and mixing in any environment. The φ35mm driver units realize the input power to reach 2,000 mW – the maximum enabled by the rigid magnetic circuit design – but also minimize distortion, even at high volume. What’s more, the bass reflex chambers in the housings improve low frequency response even further while the sound insulators create a higher level of audio insulation, so you’ll hear the full bass sound along with every nuance in the music.

Highly robust construction

Don’t let the lightweight feel of these headphones fool you – they’re rugged and built to last. All the components are extra tough, including the steel core of the headband. Made to withstand the rigors of constant use on the road, they’ve passed demanding tests that other professional Pioneer DJ headphones are subjected to, as well as the stringent US Military Standard MIL-STD-810H Shock test.

Interchangeable cables and accessories

Set your headphones up the way you like by choosing from the 2 supplied cables – straight or coiled. To make sure you never lose your ¼” plug adapter, clip the adapter holder neatly onto your cable so it’s always at hand. A pair of replacement ear pads are also included, and you can expect them to come in handy eventually because these headphones should serve you well for a long time.
