The Pioneer DJ OPUS-QUAD introduces a completely fresh approach to DJ equipment that harmonizes design and playability. Raising the level of elegance in musical direction and the space the music fills, it helps create a special experience for your audience.
With a matte black finish and earth-colored slits on the front and sides, the unit can enhance the aesthetics of any environment. The product is sloped at a 5-degree angle and the front edge is rounded, making it more comfortable to rest your hands on, and the dimples and textured finish on the outer and top parts of the jogs add to the aesthetics while giving you a perfect grip. The colors of the lights on the jog rings match the customizable colors you’ve assigned to the decks so you always know which is playing. All this combines to help you play comfortably, deliver your best performances, and inspire your audience.
Standalone 4-deck playback for versatile DJ performances
The OPUS-QUAD offers standalone 4-deck playback for versatile DJ performances. This means you can play 4 tracks on 4 different decks simultaneously, cue up tracks in advance, or leave a deck free for dropping requests into your set at a moment’s notice – all with just one unit. You can also assign a different color to each deck, which is matched by the jog ring illumination, so you’ll always know which deck you’re playing with.
Easy-to-use professional effects
The evolved effects on the OPUS-QUAD make it easy to add texture and tension to the music so you can hype up the crowd and personalize your sound with Beat FX. The XY-Pad makes it easy to control features such as FX Bank and channel select, as Beat FX parameters and the cut-off frequency of the filter are controlled by movement on the X and Y-axis respectively, so you can blend both effects with a single finger. With the popular Smooth Echo feature, you can easily trigger an echo sound by moving a fader or knob you’ve pre-assigned to apply the effect when it’s turned on. Each channel also has Sound Color FX, giving you even more possibilities when creating different sounds to wow your audience.
Support for multiple media sources to match different playing styles
How do you like to play? From USB thumb drives or huge SSD drives? By plugging in your PC/Mac that’s running DJ software? By connecting via Wi-Fi® to wirelessly play tracks from your smartphone using rekordbox*1, or by using rekordbox CloudDirectPlay? You can draw from various music libraries with just 1 OPUS-QUAD and you can even pair a mobile device via Bluetooth®/MD wireless technology – perfect if you want to quickly drop a request into your set.
The unit features 4 USB inputs in total: 1 x USB Type-C port for connecting the latest devices, a PC/Mac, or, in some cases, a mobile device; 1 x USB Type-A (3.2) port on the rear panel for rapid communication with an SSD drive or similar device; and 2 x standard USB Type-A ports on the top panel.
Rapid and accurate track search – even from the biggest collections
Find your tracks faster and more accurately than ever before with the freshly designed user interface with an electrostatic touch module. No matter how big your music library is, you can use the 10.1-inch touch screen to quickly search for songs via the keyboard or use Playlist Bank for quick navigation between playlists. With Touch Preview, you can even preview tracks while browsing. The new Smart Rotary Selector offers a joystick-like experience with left/right, up/down, rotation, and push control. And the other browsing controls are neatly arranged around the selector so you can scour your music collection and preview and load tracks without moving your hand.
Optimized deck configuration and new Smart Cue
Take control of the music with a slick deck layout that includes a deck display and 8 Hot Cue buttons above each full-size jog wheel. With this arrangement, you don’t need to switch your gaze when manipulating tracks or checking things such as the track information, parameter, and status of each function. And with the new Smart Cue feature, you can automatically overwrite the current cue position with recalled Hot Cues. This makes it much quicker and more intuitive than ever before to use Hot Cues with one touch.
High-quality comfortable sound
Designed to meet the needs of the increasingly diverse DJ scene, the OPUS-QUAD produces high-quality sound that’s comfortable to listen to for long periods of time. The configuration of the unit eliminates transmission loss and AD-DA conversion loss and it’s loaded with a high-quality 32-bit D/A converter from ESS Technology. As a result, wherever you play on the OPUS-QUAD, the entire venue is gently enveloped by a comfortable sound that enhances the spatial experience.
Zone output for playing different music in different spaces
Thanks to the zone output – which can output sound that’s separate from the master – you can play different music in different rooms from just 1 OPUS-QUAD. For example, you could connect a phone to the unit via Bluetooth and set a playlist of background music to play quietly in a bar area or second room where people are socializing while you mix tracks from a USB device in the main room.
rekordbox and Serato compatibility
Plug-and-play compatibility for rekordbox Performance mode and Serato DJ Pro*2 is included with the OPUS-QUAD. You can simply plug in your PC/Mac running either application to get started – there’s no need for a license or subscription. If you use rekordbox, you can connect to the rekordbox for iOS/Android mobile app*1 too.

HIGH-QUALITY COMPONENTS
The Pioneer DJ VM-70 Active Monitor Speaker includes a Class D amplifier with 96 kHz sampling DSP to enable wide- bandwidth audio reproduction with low distortion and a high-energy sound. And the 4-mm-thick rigid aluminum front baffle suppresses resonance and reduces vibrations.
ARAMID FIBER WOOFER CONES
From min to max volume, Aramid fiber woofer cones provide outstanding punch you’ll feel in the bass and low-mid frequencies. These cones are 30 percent lighter than conventional paper- lined Aramid cones, making them stronger and helping them to pump out deep sounds.
VORTEX BASS ACCELERATOR
The Vortex Bass Accelerator ensures that low-end audio is tight and free from unwanted vibrations, as ribs in the bass reflex port enable air to flow freely from the speaker to deliver pure sound – whether you’re listening to vocals or instrumentals.
CONSTANT DIRECTIVITY HORN
Mid and high frequencies on the Pioneer DJ VM-70 Active Monitor Speaker are delivered with power thanks to the constant directivity horn, which also creates a broad, uniform listening space. The shape of the horn and the woofer edge are designed so the at playback frequency crosses over to the tweeter easily for a natural sound.
DSP CONTROL
To help you tweak the output and nd the perfect sound, each VM speaker includes DSP settings. The Low and High EQ knobs on the rear panel have 4 options each, giving you 16 possible EQ settings that are simple to engage. Choose the one that sounds best for DJing or producing music in your home or studio, depending on the shape, size, and construction of the room.

Lightweight and flexible design you can wear comfortably for hours
Even for the longest sets, you’ll feel comfortable wearing the Pioneer DJ HDJ-CX headphones, from your first mix to your last. As well as being incredibly light – weighing just 136g without the cable – they’re ergonomically designed to minimize any stress to your head, neck, or shoulders. The weight distribution of the headband and the earcups, as well as the thickness of the headband cushion, have been carefully adjusted for optimal balance. The diameter of the wire inside the included cables has been reduced and the position of the spiral on the coiled version has been shifted closer to the plug that connects to your mixer, so it balances better with the straight section. What’s more, the stainless steel headband features a ladder-like structure for extra flexibility and stress resistance so you can easily find your perfect fit.
Tight, wide-ranging sound and superior insulation for precise monitoring in any environment
The Pioneer DJ HDJ-CX headphones have been designed from scratch with a brand-new driver unit and special tuning to deliver crystal-clear audio. The new PEEK-PU-PEEK composite film diaphragm2 provides tight sound and a frequency response of 5 Hz to 30 kHz. This means you can clearly hear the kicks, snare drums, and hi-hats for precise monitoring and mixing in any environment. The φ35mm driver units realize the input power to reach 2,000 mW – the maximum enabled by the rigid magnetic circuit design – but also minimize distortion, even at high volume. What’s more, the bass reflex chambers in the housings improve low frequency response even further while the sound insulators create a higher level of audio insulation, so you’ll hear the full bass sound along with every nuance in the music.
Highly robust construction
Don’t let the lightweight feel of these headphones fool you – they’re rugged and built to last. All the components are extra tough, including the steel core of the headband. Made to withstand the rigors of constant use on the road, they’ve passed demanding tests that other professional Pioneer DJ headphones are subjected to, as well as the stringent US Military Standard MIL-STD-810H Shock test.
Interchangeable cables and accessories
Set your headphones up the way you like by choosing from the 2 supplied cables – straight or coiled. To make sure you never lose your ¼” plug adapter, clip the adapter holder neatly onto your cable so it’s always at hand. A pair of replacement ear pads are also included, and you can expect them to come in handy eventually because these headphones should serve you well for a long time.
