AlphaTheta Corporation announces the release of the DDJ-FLX10 from its Pioneer DJ brand.
This 4-channel performance DJ controller for rekordbox and Serato DJ Pro includes a host of brand-new features
that enable new creative possibilities, including functions you can use to easily perform mash-ups on the fly with
no need to prepare tracks in advance.

Thanks to the new Track Separation technology in rekordbox, you can load tracks from your music library to the
DDJ-FLX10 as you normally would, then manipulate different musical parts to create infinitely unique performances,
including live mash-ups. The controller focuses on the 3 track elements that are crucial to DJing – vocals, drums,
and inst (other instruments) – so you can easily play around with each one.

You can see more of the information you want on the jog wheels of the DDJ-FLX10, and customize the look of the
controller, thanks to the expanded On Jog Display. Improving on the jogs from the popular DDJ-1000, there are 4
modes to choose from, giving you the option to display different types of waveform information.

The DDJ-FLX10 introduces Mix Point Link, a new rekordbox-compatible feature that enables you to neatly and
seamlessly link the playback of tracks in your set while freeing up your hands so you can get creative by applying
effects and making live mash-ups.

Looking for an extra way to captivate your audience? You can add hypnotic lighting effects to your performances
with the DDJ-FLX10, which includes a DMX output so you can connect lighting fixtures without the need for any
other equipment.

KEY FEATURES
Track Separation for innovative performances including live mash-ups.
If you want to create unique live performances that aren’t possible with conventional DJ gear, the DDJ-FLX10 has the answer. With its Track Separation technology, you can simply load the regular songs from your music library and use the controller to create remixes and mash-ups on the fly by independently manipulating the 3 key parts of the music: vocals, drums, and inst (other instruments including bass and synths). For example, you can play the instruments and drums from one track while the vocal from the track on the other deck plays over the top. There are dedicated color-coded buttons to control each part, so you’ll always have a clear visual grasp of what’s playing.

• Active Part and Part Iso
Individually adjust the volume for the vocals, drums, or inst to mix in new ways. You can also choose to mute any combination of the 3 parts to make live mash-ups with other tracks.

• FX Part Select
Choose which parts of a track you want to apply effects to, and create your own remix live. For example, you could add echo to the vocals but leave the other parts alone.

• Part Instant Doubles
Isolate a specific part of the track (vocal, drums, or inst) and transfer it to another deck so you can scratch it.

Expanded On Jog Display
With the new On Jog Display, which is evolved from the DDJ-1000, you can customize the information you see on the jogs so there’s no need to take your eyes off the decks. Choose from 4 modes as detailed below, some of which show 3Band Waveforms (rekordbox only), the same as the CDJ-3000 flagship multi player. You can also keep an eye on new Mix Point Link information, rekordbox vocal position analysis information, and Performance Pad status.

• Deck Info mode – shows the information about the deck, including the Overall Waveform. (When using Serato DJ Pro, this mode shows the virtual deck of Serato DJ Pro.)
• Waveform mode – shows the Zoomed Waveforms for 2 decks.
• Artwork display – shows the artwork for the track that’s playing.
• DJ Logo display – shows your own logo or favorite image on each deck after using the Image Transfer Tool for PC/Mac.

New Mix Point Link for seamless transitions
Take advantage of a completely new playback concept in rekordbox that enables you to create slick musical progression in your sets by linking mix points in tracks so the next song kicks in at the perfect moment. You might set the next track to start from the beginning of its melody when the vocal of the current song ends, ensuring a seamless transition without a sound clash. There’s no need to count down or press play manually, which also leaves your hands free to create mash-ups or add effects.

DMX output for rekordbox Lighting function
Liven up your performances with lighting effects that match the mood of the tracks you play. It’s easy with the rekordbox Lighting function and, thanks to the DMX output on the DDJ-FLX10, you don’t need any other equipment such as an external DMX interface. Simply connect DMX-compatible lighting equipment to the controller and use rekordbox to create custom lighting effects, or set the software to automatically adapt the color and movement of the lights to progress with the music.

Evolved MAGVEL FADER 4-sensor system
Improved from the 2-sensor system on the DDJ-1000, the MAGVEL FADER on the DDJ-FLX10 uses a 4-sensor system. This allows you to make the tiniest volume adjustments, no matter how small the movement of the crossfader, enabling more musical performances.

rekordbox and Serato DJ Pro compatibility
The DDJ-FLX10 offers free plug-and-play compatibility with rekordbox and Serato DJ Pro, giving you hands-on control of your favorite software application. DVS support is available for rekordbox via selected subscription plans, and for Serato via a paid license/subscription to Serato DJ Expansions or Serato DJ Suite. Multicolored jog ring
You can use the first-ever multicolored jog ring on a Pioneer DJ controller to indicate the different parts of the track that are playing when you’re using the Track Separation features, or you can customize the colors to your preferred look.

The Pioneer DJ VM-70 Active Monitor Speaker includes a Class D amplifier with 96 kHz sampling DSP to enable wide- bandwidth audio reproduction with low distortion and a high-energy sound. And the 4-mm-thick rigid aluminum front baffle suppresses resonance and reduces vibrations.

Lightweight and flexible design you can wear comfortably for hours

Even for the longest sets, you’ll feel comfortable wearing the Pioneer DJ HDJ-CX headphones, from your first mix to your last. As well as being incredibly light – weighing just 136g without the cable – they’re ergonomically designed to minimize any stress to your head, neck, or shoulders. The weight distribution of the headband and the earcups, as well as the thickness of the headband cushion, have been carefully adjusted for optimal balance. The diameter of the wire inside the included cables has been reduced and the position of the spiral on the coiled version has been shifted closer to the plug that connects to your mixer, so it balances better with the straight section. What’s more, the stainless steel headband features a ladder-like structure for extra flexibility and stress resistance so you can easily find your perfect fit.

Tight, wide-ranging sound and superior insulation for precise monitoring in any environment

The Pioneer DJ HDJ-CX headphones have been designed from scratch with a brand-new driver unit and special tuning to deliver crystal-clear audio. The new PEEK-PU-PEEK composite film diaphragm2 provides tight sound and a frequency response of 5 Hz to 30 kHz. This means you can clearly hear the kicks, snare drums, and hi-hats for precise monitoring and mixing in any environment. The φ35mm driver units realize the input power to reach 2,000 mW – the maximum enabled by the rigid magnetic circuit design – but also minimize distortion, even at high volume. What’s more, the bass reflex chambers in the housings improve low frequency response even further while the sound insulators create a higher level of audio insulation, so you’ll hear the full bass sound along with every nuance in the music.

Don’t let the lightweight feel of these headphones fool you – they’re rugged and built to last. All the components are extra tough, including the steel core of the headband. Made to withstand the rigors of constant use on the road, they’ve passed demanding tests that other professional Pioneer DJ headphones are subjected to, as well as the stringent US Military Standard MIL-STD-810H Shock test.

Interchangeable cables and accessories
